Bale Perfumes

Bale Perfumes was founded by Alan Balewski, an independent perfumer and fragrance enthusiast whose path moved from self-directed perfume study into professional composition work and later included training at ISIPCA in France. The brand presents itself as an independent Polish artisanal practice: its fragrances are composed and produced by hand in small, limited batches, and products are individually numbered with their batch years. Its public creative identity is tied to Polish culture, art, and nature, with production based in northern Poland near the Tricity area. The earliest Bale Perfumes editions documented by Fragrantica date to 2020, and the brand’s fragrances are credited to Balewski. In 2024, its laboratory developed fragrance materials from natural Baltic amber, using them in three fragrances. Bale Perfumes is also associated with a limited series inspired by The Witcher, described in editorial coverage as receiving the strongest response; Elderflower & Gooseberry, composed by Balewski and launched in 2020, was part of that project.
