Baron Filou originated in Graz, Austria, in 2018–2019, founded by Georg Schrimpf and Thomas Müller. The brand’s identity is built around a distinctive bear character, whose playful presence spans clothing and lifestyle designs. From its beginnings as a fashion label, Baron Filou developed into a broader lifestyle brand while retaining the bear as its recognizable creative anchor. In 2026, it expanded into fine fragrance with L’Été du Baron, described as the brand’s first fragrance and the official scent of the bear. Created by Swiss perfumer Mirella Pomina, the fragrance translates Baron Filou’s bear-centered identity into an olfactory signature and extends its creative world beyond fashion.
