Barr-Co

Barr-Co. was launched in 2011 by John and Kelley Barr as an addition to K. Hall Studio’s portfolio. Based in St. Louis, it was presented as a handcrafted apothecary line styled around the Americana pioneer era of tonics, tinctures, and elixirs. Its identity combines botanical ingredients with reusable or recyclable packaging, including glass milk bottles, muslin sacks, and tinware. In 2013, K. Hall Studio launched Barr-Co. Soap Shop as a colorful extension of the original line, retaining plant extracts and botanical ingredients. In May 2015, K. Hall Studio LLC was acquired by an affiliate of Sage Capital in partnership with management, and Sage Capital identifies Barr-Co. among its brands. The original collection was scented with milk, oatmeal, vanilla, and vetiver; that Original Scent remains represented as an eau de parfum.
