Be. Colonias

Be. Colônias was founded in Rio de Janeiro in the mid-2000s by Anna Beatriz Londres, who began creating fragrances at home with the aim of making a fresh, good-quality cologne for everyday use. The carioca, author-led brand developed a light, fresh style inspired by Rio’s climate, with lavender as a recurring element. Its first cologne, Be. Verde, was created by Londres with help from her aunt, a career chemist; the fragrance pairs lavender with musk and is directly associated with the brand’s lavender-centered approach. After Be. Verde, Londres created Be. Azul and Be. Laranja. By 2023, the brand’s scents retained Londres’s signature while her sons ran the operation.
