Beauté Pacifique

Beauté Pacifique was established in 1997 in Hadsund, North Jutland, by Flemming K. Christensen, his wife Margith, and their three children. Its origins lay in Christensen’s work with electromedical equipment and ultrasound scanners: ultrasound provided a way to document changes in skin condition and helped prompt the brand’s creation. From a family operation that made creams and applied labels at home, Beauté Pacifique developed into a larger Danish skincare business while retaining its family-run structure; the company is now led by Christensen’s daughter, Amalie Andersen. The brand’s identity is built around dermatological knowledge, collaboration with Danish dermatologists, vitamin A skincare, and ultrasound documentation of product effects. Its recorded milestones include the 1998 launch of Crème Métamorphique alongside its first scientific study, the Clinical series in 2003, and Crème Paradoxe in 2010. In 2022, it marked its 25th anniversary, launched the Symphonique vitamin A series, and introduced Ouverture, its first scent and Eau de Toilette, a water-based, alcohol-free fragrance. The timeline records the Chaperone anti-ageing series as a 2025 launch.
