Bejar

Béjar traces its history to 1980, when Ramón Béjar founded the company. His early creations drew on traditional European perfumery and oriental perfumes, while the brand’s later identity connected Arab-inspired Granada heritage with Barcelona’s artistic culture and combined Middle Eastern fragrance traditions with Western olfactory tastes. Ramón Béjar is presented as the principal perfumer and creative figure, developing fragrances conceived as olfactory experiences with an art-object dimension. This approach took a tangible form in Cuarzo The Circle, introduced after its official presentation at Esxence in Milan in 2014; the collection paired natural fragrance materials with gems and noble metals across 16 limited, numbered perfumes. In 2023, Béjar launched a new Extrait de Parfum collection while discontinuing the first collection introduced in 2014.
