Berceuse Parfum

Berceuse Parfum is a fragrance house founded by Will Carius and based in Cooperstown, New York; it launched in February 2020 with Allegretto 7.2. Its creative premise translates individual pieces of music into fragrance, treating music as a conduit for emotion. Developed over three years by Carius in collaboration with perfumer Antonio Gardoni, Allegretto 7.2 was inspired by the second movement of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony. The house’s second documented release, Minneapolis 5.3, arrived in 2022 and was composed by Spyros Drosopoulos around Tom Waits’s “Christmas Card from a Hooker in Minneapolis.” In 2024, Berceuse perfumes were announced as returning to production, with the two fragrances becoming available directly through Barrister & Mann’s website for the first time. Barrister & Mann’s official site describes Berceuse Parfum as its sister site.
