Bergland

Bergland is a German natural-care brand based in Heimertingen in the Allgäu region that has developed and produced products since 1982. It began with natural fragrances and pure essential oils, later expanding into natural cosmetics made with essential oils. Its public identity centers on certified natural cosmetics, wellness products, and plant-derived ingredients, including aloe vera, beeswax, and tea tree oil. Tea tree cosmetics hold a particularly prominent place in the brand’s identity: tea tree oil is documented as the starting point of Bergland’s development, and Bergland Pharma has been described as a pioneer in tea tree cosmetics. Bergland marked 40 years of natural cosmetics in 2022. In 2013, the Bergland Group, formerly Bioherba, was described as a subsidiary of the De-Vau-Ge Foundation, with Bergland Pharma identified as its natural-cosmetics and essential-oils brand. A 2025 restructuring changed Bioherba GmbH’s legal name to Bergland GmbH and merged Bergland-Pharma Verwaltungs-GmbH and Hallo Naturversand für Lebensmittel GmbH into it.
