Beverly Hills 90210
Beverly Hills 90210 began as a Fox television drama on October 4, 1990, created by Darren Star and produced by Aaron Spelling. The original series ran for 10 seasons from 1990 to 2000, and the property returned in the 2019 reboot BH90210. Its public identity centers on teenage twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh, who move from a middle-class Midwestern neighborhood to wealthy Beverly Hills and attend school among affluent peers. The property developed as a licensed entertainment property, with rights acquired by Debra Joester in 1991 and later extensions into categories including fragrance. By 1993, its fragrances, publishing, and fashion were top sellers in more than 20 countries; a 1992 perfume created by Tsumura International was initially aimed at consumers aged 16 to 24. In 2025, Skydance Media acquired Paramount, whose portfolio includes CBS and continues to present Beverly Hills 90210 as part of its media portfolio.
