Beverly Hills Polo

Beverly Hills Polo Club was established in 1982 in Beverly Hills, California, when two California students began marketing products under the name. Its identity brings together Southern California elegance and the heritage and competitive spirit of polo, represented by the Horse & Rider logo. BHPC Marketing Inc. was established in 1983 to manage the trademark and expand the product business. Licensing began in the United States and internationally in 1991, and by 1994 the brand had entered international storefronts and duty-free retail channels. Today, Beverly Hills Polo Club is presented as a fashion and fragrance label, with scents spanning fresh daytime and more seductive evening styles. The mark was first used in U.S. commerce for perfume and related personal-care goods in October 1996; BHPC Associates LLC is listed as the current owner of that U.S. mark.
