Beverly Hills Polo Club

In 1982, two students in California began marketing products under the Beverly Hills Polo Club name, and BHPC Marketing Inc. was established in 1983 to manage the trademarks and product development. The brand expanded into women’s wear and developed into a broader fashion label, with licensing beginning in the United States and internationally in 1991. Its identity combines traditional polo heritage with a bright, healthy West Coast image, expressed through the Horse & Rider logo’s link between Southern California and polo. The UK and EU rights were assigned to Lifestyle Equities in 2009; by 2021, ownership was split geographically, with Lifestyle Equities holding those rights and BHPC Associates LLC holding the corresponding US rights under the control of the founder’s brothers. Beverly Hills Polo Club now presents itself as a worldwide fashion and fragrance label, with fragrances spanning fruity, floral, fresh, seductive, and woody styles.
