Bibliothèque de Parfum

Bibliothèque de Parfum was founded in Kharkiv, Ukraine, in 2019 as a family venture by Lora and Viacheslav Nekrasov. Its concept is a fragrance library: each perfume is presented as a story with its own mood, character, memory, and emotional state. The brand’s original creative model brought together perfumery specialists from different European countries under Lora Nekrasova’s direction. On 24 February 2022, the full-scale Russian invasion materially disrupted the brand, forcing its Kharkiv team to relocate while the company rebuilt its processes and restarted its work. In the period that followed, its public creative direction developed through collaboration between Lora Nekrasova and Italian artisan perfumer Fernanda Rousseau. Their work shaped the I Am collection, planned as eight fragrances representing eight states of a woman, and substantially rethought after the war and relocation. The brand’s post-2022 public identity combines Ukrainian origin with story-led fragrance design and an emphasis on emotional states, memory, and personal identity.
