bijoux
Gas Bijoux began in 1969, when Marseille artist André Gas hand-crafted lucky-charm jewelry and sold it on the beaches of Saint-Tropez. From that beach-based venture, it developed into a family-run house rooted in Marseille, with an aesthetic shaped by Mediterranean light, travel, color, and handmade craft. Around 2000, André Gas’s children Olivier and Marie joined the business; Olivier is associated with the house’s leadership, while Marie took on its artistic direction, combining innovation with tradition across color, form, materials, jewelry design, presentation, and brand image. The house received France’s Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant designation in 2011 in recognition of traditional craftsmanship. Gas Bijoux entered fragrance in 2006 with Ensoleille Moi, identified as the house’s signature fragrance. Its perfumes extend the jewelry universe through solar, floral, woody, and amber interpretations of its history. In 2024, La Route des Plages added a fragrance homage to the brand’s origins and Saint-Tropez beach heritage.
