Blancheide
Blancheide is the personal fragrance collection created by perfumer Pierre Stéphane Rubis for clients he encountered during his career. Rubis trained and worked with essences in Grasse, then spent a formative period in a Paris perfume boutique on Rue des Filles du Calvaire. After 15 years at Maison Tombarel Frères, he established Grasse Senteurs in Grasse in 1988. Blancheide’s name combines “blanche” and “idée,” associating white with synthesis and the blending of perfume essences. Its creative identity draws on Rubis’s use of natural materials, ingredients encountered during travel, and fragrances shaped by personal olfactory memories. The Aromacromie concept extends that approach into layering, enabling customers to combine Blancheide fragrances into personalized blends. Two fragrances carry particular significance in the brand’s history: Rose, a tribute to Grasse’s Rosa Centifolia, and Le Supreme Patchouly, which grew from a client’s request for patchouli with vanilla, amber, and musk.
