雪肌精 BLUE is a skincare series launched by KOSÉ as an extension of the SEKKISEI brand. SEKKISEI began in Japan in 1985 with a lotion made with Japanese herbal extracts and expanded from that single product into a broader skincare line. KOSÉ announced 雪肌精 BLUE on February 6, 2025, for launch on May 16 that year, alongside Prédia BLUE. The series frames beauty through harmony between people and the earth, combining SEKKISEI’s Japanese-herbal concept with practices including natural-origin disclosure, Japanese materials, upcycling, lower-impact packaging, environmental support, and container collection. Its approach extends beyond skincare alone: constitution-oriented counseling and meditation associated with scent address the skin, body, and mind as parts of holistic care.
