Boellis
Boellis traces its Neapolitan barbering story to 1924, when Antonio Boellis arrived in Naples and established the family’s first barberia. In the 1960s, his son Peppino developed the shop into a salon with a club-like identity and a distinctive natural haircutting technique. Michele Boellis joined the family barberia at 13 and, in the late 1990s, created Panama 1924, extending the family tradition into men’s fragrances and personal-care products. The name links Antonio Boellis’s Panama hat with the year 1924, while the label’s identity combines Italian style, Neapolitan heritage, artisanal attention to detail, and grooming. In 2012, Panama Daytona launched as a new fragrance from the brand. Panama 1924’s first fragrance, 1924, is also its best-selling signature scent. Profumitalia is identified as Panama 1924’s parent company and license owner.
