Boellis 1924

Boellis 1924 traces its roots to 1924, when Antonio Boellis arrived in Naples and began the family’s barbering tradition with a shop in the city. The business continued across generations, with a Boellis salon on Via Vetriera in Chiaia operating since 1974. Michele Boellis, who began working in the family shop at 13, created the Panama 1924 fragrance line in the late 1990s as an extension of that tradition, and its perfumes are identified as his creations. The brand combines Neapolitan barbering heritage with Italian fragrance and men’s personal-care products, emphasizing artisanal attention to detail and natural raw materials. Its first fragrance, 1924, honors Antonio Boellis’s arrival in Naples and is identified as the line’s best-selling signature scent. Panama Daytona was introduced in 2012 as a new fragrance beyond the original line.
