Fragrance house
Bon Parfumeur
Founded in 2017 by Ludovic Bonneton after his return from Colombia, where tropical scents influenced his decision to create a perfume house, Bon Parfumeur reimagines Parisian perfumery through a creative community and collaborations with perfumers and artists. Its fragrances are organized by olfactory categories and identified through a numbered, color-coded system: the first digit indicates an olfactory family, while the remaining digits show the order of creation within that family. The house’s early creative network included six young perfumers; Bonneton’s meeting with Raymond Chaillan, creator of Yves Saint Laurent’s Opium, helped him meet different perfumers within six months. The 901 fragrance is presented as the genesis of Bonneton’s perfumery and the first fragrance he created, and Bon Parfumeur labels it iconic.
