Bonanza Satrangi
Founded in Pakistan in 1976, Bonanza began with ready-made winter wear, including knitted garments for men, women, and children. The family-run business expanded from that apparel base into men’s shirting, trousers, and shalwar suits; the Bilwani family’s commercial history reaches back to Ghani & Tayyab, established in Karachi in 1946, while the family entered textiles in 1967. In 2012, Bonanza introduced Satrangi, a women’s clothing line, and adopted the combined Bonanza | Satrangi identity. Created to move beyond Bonanza’s traditional association with men’s wear and reach a younger women’s market, Satrangi launched with designer Kamiar Rokni, with 25,000 pieces selling out within a month. Its current architecture places men’s formal clothing, knits, and ethnic wear under Bonanza, while Satrangi covers women’s prêt, unstitched clothing, and accessories. The brand entered fragrances around 2017.
