Bond 9 Perfumes
Bond No. 9 Perfumes was founded in 2003 by Laurice Rahmé, and its origins are tied to 9 Bond Street in NoHo, New York City. Created after September 11 as a tribute to New York, the brand initially organized its fragrances around individual neighborhoods. Its creative mission is to connect artistry with perfumery by giving each neighborhood an original scent reflecting its space, community, and history. Rahmé oversees the New York-centered concept, fragrance development, bottle design, and boutique design, and is identified as the brand’s founder and owner. The geographic concept later extended through a partnership with The Andy Warhol Foundation, producing more than 12 fragrances inspired by Warhol’s art. Astor Place and Brooklyn won the 2010 FiFi Awards for Fragrance of the Year in the Nouveau Niche categories for women and men. The Scent of Peace is identified as one of the brand’s best-sellers and was associated with Rahmé receiving the 2015 United Nations Women for Peace Award. In October 2023, Bond No. 9 marked its 20th anniversary with New York Forever, a tribute to the city’s history and endurance.
