Botica Botanica

Botica Botanica is a Portland, Oregon maker of handmade, small-batch botanical fragrance and skincare, with an Etsy storefront that has operated since 2013. The brand grew from Reyna’s experiments with essential oils and natural perfumery materials; after creating fragrances for friends, she decided to sell them. Identified as the owner, creator, and perfumer, Reyna shaped a creative practice around natural materials and scents that evoke wilderness, childhood memories, particular places, and experiences in nature. Its fragrances are personal and close-wearing rather than room-filling. Reyna also expanded beyond perfumery into whole-plant materials and herbalism, studying at Elderberry School in Portland. Botica Botanica’s fragrance oils use essential oils, concretes, absolutes, and resins blended in an apricot-kernel-oil base.
