Braccialini

Founded in Florence in 1954 by Carla and Roberto Braccialini, Braccialini began with leather handbags that combined leatherwork with Florentine straw-basket traditions. After Roberto’s death in 1976, Carla took charge, and their sons Riccardo and Massimo joined the company in 1980. The brand’s creative identity developed through experimentation with materials, colours, shapes and lines while maintaining an emphasis on craftsmanship and leather goods. Its international profile also included a 1987 licensing agreement with Vivienne Westwood for accessories such as bags, belts and small leather goods. In February 2017, Graziella Group won the judicial auction for the Braccialini and Tua business brands. A Florence court declared Braccialini bankrupt the following year, while Graziella continued production after the purchase. Since January 2023, the businesses have operated under the single identity Graziella Braccialini, bringing together leather goods and jewellery.
