Brera6 Perfumes

Brera6 Perfumes was launched in 2018 as a collection released by Milan’s Profumo boutique, taking its name from the address Via Brera 6. Its origins are tied to Profumo, a historic Milan perfume atelier that has operated there since 1984; Monica Wetter and her family founded and owned the atelier, drawing on her previous niche-perfumery work in London and Paris and her opening of Europe’s first, and Italy’s only, Shu Uemura beauty boutique. Brera6’s creative identity translates Milan and the Brera district—its historic places, events, architecture and urban character—into fragrance concepts, with minimalist packaging designed to evoke a map of the city. The first six fragrances were attributed to Italian perfumer Luca Maffei, while the later Gothic was created by Maurizio Cerizza and issued as a limited edition of 250 numbered sets. No_Name is identified as the brand’s signature fragrance and as a scent of Milan’s atmosphere, while 1848! draws on the city’s Five Days of 1848.
