Bros

Bros is documented as a group of fragrance labels and products of Preferred Fragrance, rather than as an independently established perfume house. Preferred Fragrance was founded around 2000 by Ezriel Polatsek and his wife and initially operated from their home. Its business developed around designer-inspired or imitation fragrances, offering accessible interpretations of established fragrance concepts rather than an original perfumery tradition. A 2017 catalog presents the Bros Trio—Bros NY, Bros Midnight, and Bros Obscure—as impressions of Hugo Boss Boss, Hugo Boss Dark Blue, and Hugo Boss Bottled Night; Bros Obscure is also documented as a Bros New York fragrance sold under the Preferred Fragrance brand.
