Brume Orpin
Founded in 2024 by Tiphaine Cogez Cousseau after four years of research and innovation, Brume Orpin is a fragrance house whose founder’s earlier career included Rochas, Balmain, and global marketing leadership at Maison Francis Kurkdjian from 2008. Its name joins “brume,” a reference to the northern French landscape where Cousseau was born, with “orpin,” a resilient plant associated with her grandmother’s alpine garden. The house defines its identity through locally sourced natural ingredients, biodegradable green-chemistry molecules, limited ingredient palettes, reduced allergen exposure, and environmental responsibility. Its fragrances are made in France, with creation and packaging developed alongside local French partners and suppliers. The first collection of five fragrances was composed by Leslie Gauthier of Symrise under Cousseau’s creative direction. Theor, one of that collection’s fragrances, received the Fragrance Foundation France’s 2025 Responsible Innovation award in the emerging-brand category.
