Fragrance house
Brûmée
Brûmée was founded by pharmacologist Dr. Anne-Claire Walch, who grew up in Grasse and developed the brand from her interest in pharmacology, skin, and fragrance. Its early offering comprised natural, vegan hair mists made in France with water- and aloe-vera-based formulas; by 2020–2021, the brand’s products included alcohol-free fragrances for skin and hair. Brûmée’s identity connects skincare and fragrance, replacing alcohol with ultrapure water, natural fragrances from Grasse, and nourishing organic oils. Its products are unisex, vegan, certified natural, and produced in France. In late 2020, Brûmée made its U.S. debut with an initial unisex, vegan range built around a water-and-oil emulsion. Its fragrance legacy is tied to the alcohol-free, water-based concept and skincare-oriented formulation rather than to a single signature scent.
