Brummel

Brummel is a Spanish men’s fragrance brand in Puig’s portfolio, launched in the mid-1970s. Its name and public identity draw on George Brummell, the English aristocrat cited as its inspiration, and it is associated with the tradition of classic Spanish men’s cologne. Ownership changed in 1996: after Sara Lee acquired the Williams and Badedas businesses, Puig took responsibility for the remaining brands, including Brummel. In 2012, Puig introduced Brummel Coupé as a renewed traditional men’s fragrance. Brummel’s original cologne is associated with woody, citrus, green, spicy and floral facets. At Mercadona, it was a sales success over several decades and crossed generations.
