Fragrance house

By Yuliya

By Yuliya is a fragrance brand founded by Sydney-based Yuliya Lozovyk, who was born in Odessa, Ukraine, raised in Australia, and draws on her Ukrainian and Russian heritage as part of the brand’s identity. Created to address a perceived gap between high-end luxury perfume and inexpensive mists, the brand emphasizes individually developed fragrances and presents scent as a form of self-expression linked to individuality, confidence, and empowerment. Its fragrances are formulated and manufactured in Australia, produced in small batches, and developed independently rather than as dupes or direct inspirations of other fragrances. On 16 April 2024, Lozovyk was announced as the recipient of the Australian Multicultural Foundation Carla Zampatti Scholarship for Young Women. Inspired by Zampatti’s leadership and commitment to empowering women, she intended By Yuliya to carry forward that legacy through a more diverse and empowered Australia. In 2025, the brand expanded beyond its perfume-mist format with a line including refillable fragrance balms. A defining fragrance example is Twenty Four Seven, described as fresh, light, and intended for everyday wear; by November 2025, Lozovyk said it had quickly become a cult favourite.
