Fragrance house
Caesars
Caesars’ fragrance identity is tied to Caesars Palace, the Las Vegas resort that opened in 1966 and maintains a Roman-inspired identity spanning hospitality, entertainment and dining. The fragrance line was associated with Caesars World Merchandising Inc. of Caesars Palace, Las Vegas. Its early releases were Caesars Man and Caesars Women in 1987, followed by Palace Reserve in 1988 and Caesars Ferentina in 1994. In February 1988, Caesars World announced plans to market Caesars Woman and Caesars Man in department stores after a stronger-than-expected consumer response to a new line of fragrances and other Caesars-branded products. The 1980s fragrance line extended the Roman-themed brand world of the hotel and casino. Ownership later changed when Caesars acquired Caesars World from Starwood Hotels & Resorts in December 1999, and Eldorado Resorts completed its acquisition of Caesars Entertainment in July 2020, with the combined company retaining the Caesars name. In May 2026, Caesars entered a proposed merger agreement with Fertitta Gaming Holdco; as of June 30, 2026, the transaction still required shareholder and regulatory approvals.
