Cafe Parfums
Cafe Parfums is a French fragrance brand whose earliest recorded fragrance, Café, launched in 1978. Its early history is marked by the paired release of Café and Homme de Café, presented as female and male expressions inspired by the morning ritual of coffee; Homme de Café was identified as the brand’s first men’s fragrance. Café was created by perfumer Jean-Jacques Diener and described as an oriental composition built around warm spices, with citrus, rose, patchouli and vetiver also listed. Later documented milestones include Café-Café in 1996 and Café Noir Pour Homme in 2017. Historically associated with Cofinluxe, formerly Cofci, Cafe Parfums was among the fragrance brands acquired by Création Beauté International. On 15 December 2023, the Paris Commercial Court approved a transfer plan in favor of SAS Création Beauté International for COFCI, the company trading as Cofinluxe.
