Caldion

Caldion is a Turkish fragrance brand within Hunca Kozmetik, the cosmetics company founded in Istanbul in 1957 by Adnan Hunca. Hunca began with Hunca Balsam and introduced Madigan in 1978 as Turkey’s first locally produced men’s perfume series, establishing a fragrance-focused identity before the arrival of later brands such as Caldion. Introduced to consumers in 1996, Caldion developed as a family spanning perfume and deodorant, with body-scent formats added later. Caldion Night followed in 2006 as an extension of the line, while Caldion Jeans arrived in 2010 with separate woody-aromatic and more mysterious feminine positioning. Caldion’s fragrance legacy is most directly represented by its original fragrance, which Hunca dates to the brand’s 1996 consumer launch. The brand remains part of Hunca’s broader Turkish cosmetics portfolio, alongside fragrance, deodorant, personal-care, skin-care, hair-care, and color-cosmetics brands.
