Calzedonia

Founded in Verona, Italy, in 1986 by Sandro Veronesi, Calzedonia began as a retail chain distributing hosiery made by third parties. The business expanded its range while integrating production and distribution, and the brand developed around hosiery and beachwear, with accessories central to its identity. The wider group broadened its fashion portfolio through the creation of Intimissimi in 1996 and Tezenis in 2003, followed by the acquisition of Falconeri in 2009. In 2022, it acquired the Antonio Marras brand, adding ready-to-wear fashion to its activities. In mid-2023, the group acquired Cantiere del Pardo, bringing the Grand Soleil, Pardo and Van Dutch yacht brands into its portfolio. That year, the Calzedonia Group changed its name to Oniverse, reflecting diversification across fashion, food and wine, and yachting.
