Camp Beverly Hills

Founded in 1977 as an apparel line by Jeff Stein and John Lasker, Camp Beverly Hills opened its first store near Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Its early identity centered on casual, comfortable sportswear in pastel and candy-colored designs, tied to a California and Los Angeles lifestyle. During the 1980s, the label expanded into major department and specialty stores nationwide and became a large licensed brand whose name appeared on apparel, accessories, perfume, bedspreads, sunglasses, and children’s clothing. Adina Levin and Raquel Krouse relaunched it in 2004 after acquiring the license, introducing a more tightly edited, vintage-oriented line. By 2021, Jay Foreman was identified as a co-owner, with a reference account reporting that he acquired the brand in the late 2010s. In 2020–2021, Global Icons partnered with Fred Segal on a capsule collection and pop-up activation intended to reestablish Camp Beverly Hills’s Los Angeles roots.
