Fragrance house
Candy Crush
Candy Crush is documented primarily as a game franchise owned by King, rather than as an independent fragrance house. King’s corporate lineage reaches back to 2003, when the company launched its first game, and King released Candy Crush Saga in 2012. Its early business identity centered on digital, social, and mobile games. Activision Blizzard announced an agreement to acquire King Digital Entertainment in November 2015; the acquisition closed in February 2016, making King a wholly owned subsidiary. Microsoft completed its acquisition of Activision Blizzard in October 2023, bringing Candy Crush Saga among the King franchises into Microsoft Gaming. Candy Crush’s main documented fragrance extension is Sweet!, a fruity-floral perfume released in 2014 and marketed by Air-Val International. In 2015, Allure also reported a separate set of four miniature perfumes associated with the franchise.
