Canturi
Canturi is a privately held Australian jewellery house founded in 1986 and headquartered in Sydney. Launched by Stefano Canturi when he was 21, the brand developed a design language combining classic forms with a modern edge, sculpture, and Cubist inspiration. That identity is expressed in its Cubism collection, whose geometric arrangements of baguette- and carré-cut diamonds draw on the avant-garde Cubist movement. In 2001, Stefano Canturi designed the Satine necklace for Nicole Kidman in Baz Luhrmann’s Moulin Rouge!; the piece set a Guinness World Record for the most valuable jewellery made for a film. Canturi entered fragrance in 2010 with its first perfume, Canturi, created with perfumer Kevin Verspoor. In 2013, the Journey exhibition marked Stefano Canturi’s 25th anniversary through drawings, paintings, sculpture, and the development of Cubism across galleries in Australia and New York.
