Casa de Coca

Casa de Coca is a fragrance brand founded by German-Peruvian Beatrice Graf, who grew up between both cultures and is based in Munich. Its concept developed from Graf’s aim to translate the spiritual atmosphere and cultural heritage of the Peruvian Andes into fragrance, a project that took more than three years to develop. The brand’s identity centers on Peru, the Inca cosmos, and the coca leaf, presented through a contemporary interpretation of Inca spiritual heritage. Casa de Coca launched publicly in 2021 with three perfumes, Chasqui, Paq’os, and Noche de Coca. French perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour created the fragrances in collaboration with Graf, while Christian von der Heide developed the brand’s visual appearance and bottle design, combining modern forms with references to Machu Picchu and the coca leaf. The collection maps Chasqui to the Inca messengers and Noche de Coca to Inca rulers and ceremonial life, with the fragrances described through Andean greenery, incense, resin, gold, and ritual.
