Casamorati
Casamorati is a historic perfume house whose original business declined amid financial difficulties and closed around the middle of the twentieth century; its perfumes then disappeared from the market for more than six decades. In 2009, Xerjoff acquired the rights to Casamorati and revived the brand, preserving its original flacon design and logo. Today, Casamorati is presented by Xerjoff Group S.p.A. as a collection of vintage perfumes that safeguards the house’s historical and artistic heritage, particularly the Italian Art Nouveau tradition. Its modern perfumery balances historical continuity with reinterpretation: Fiore d’Ulivo and Mefisto remain relatively close to century-old recipes, while Bouquet Ideale draws on surviving Casamorati samples in a contemporary interpretation. Lira connects this renewed collection with the house’s earlier repertoire, adapting a perfume first released by Casamorati in the late nineteenth century. It is also regarded as perhaps the line’s most popular offering and as a staple of modern niche gourmand perfumery.
