Cathy Guetta
Cathy Guetta began in Paris nightlife after moving to the city in 1989, working first as a barmaid at Les Bains Douches before becoming a public-relations figure and artistic director. With David Guetta, she organized parties at the Bataclan and later took artistic direction of the Palace and Les Bains Douches. Her reported milestones include artistic direction of the Palace in 1995, co-ownership of Les Bains Douches in 2000, and the opening of Pink Paradise and launch of the F*** Me I’m Famous parties in Ibiza in 2002. Ibiza was closely tied to her public identity through the couple’s recurring electronic parties there. In 2011, she co-founded My Love Affair with Raphaël Aflalo, a consultancy focused on partnerships between brands and artists. Their public partnership ended in August 2014 after about 25 years together. The fragrance label is associated with Selectiva SpA. Ibiza Femme, launched in 2004, translated her Ibiza nightlife identity into an oriental-floral fragrance created by Emilie Bouge; Ibiza for Men followed in 2007 with matching disco-ball visual language.
