Chabaud Maison de Parfum
Chabaud Maison de Parfum is a family-owned French niche perfume house from Montpellier, where the Chabaud family began its perfumery venture in 2002. Christophe and Sophie Chabaud started the house, with Sophie studying at Cinquième Sens in Paris and pursuing further perfume training in Grasse. The maison’s creative concept draws on childhood memories, emotions, and Mediterranean landscapes, translating them into poetic olfactory experiences. In 2013, Mattia Bono joined its development as a co-founder and brand director, with a philosophy emphasizing art and poetry. Chabaud links its perfumes to a French craft identity associated with Montpellier, while crafting them in Grasse. The house is especially associated with its milk fragrance series, described as an icon symbolizing Chabaud. Among these scents, Lait Concentré is identified as an iconic maison fragrance built around condensed milk, childhood memory, coconut, and caramel.
