Chevignon

Founded in 1979 by Guy Azoulay, Chevignon began with a collection that reinterpreted American military and aviation garments, especially flight jackets, reflecting his interest in second-hand clothing and American culture. In 1984, the brand created the TOG’s UNLIMITED label and its mallard-duck emblem, which became a defining symbol. During the 1990s, Chevignon expanded internationally and broadened its business through licensing agreements. It entered fragrance with a first perfume in 1991; in 1992, Groupe Bogart signed the worldwide Chevignon perfume licence, marking the start of an international fragrance business. Vivarte acquired Chevignon through its 2007 acquisition of Naf-Naf, then agreed to sell the brand in 2018. Royer, Stéphane Collaert and Thierry Le Guénic took over Chevignon in March 2019. From 2020, the brand returned to its original 1980s and Guy Azoulay inspirations, with renewed use of archival designs and an eco-responsible direction.
