Christèle Jacquemin
Christèle Jacquemin began working in fragrance in 2000 at a perfume-composition company in Murcia, Spain, where her work included international travel and later fragrance marketing. She developed photography alongside perfumery, opening a studio in Murcia in 2009, and subsequently trained in perfume creation at Cinquième Sens in Paris. After leaving the industrial fragrance environment and traveling in Asia, she conceived a brand that links travel photography with perfumes inspired by the images and sensations of each journey. Officially launched in October 2019 during its first multisensory exhibition in Avignon, France, the brand presents photographs and fragrances together, with images serving as starting points for perfume creation. Jacquemin is its central creative figure and perfumer, creating and handmaking each perfume in her workshop. By 2020, its debut perfumes included Impermanence, Meandering Soul, and Underworld; Impermanence was nominated in the Artisan category of the 2020 Art and Olfaction Awards.
