CIEL Parfum
CIEL Parfum is a Russian fragrance-and-cosmetics company founded by Elena Sokolova, with 21 September 2002 recorded as its official opening date. The company began with wholesale sales of lesser-known brands, opened its own fragrance production in 1998, and registered its own brand in 2002. Its public identity developed around Russian-made fragrance sold through direct sales, with concepts developed inside the company and predominantly French names used for its scents. Early core lines included Soleil, Nuage, Arc-en-Ciel, and Demi-lune. In 2005, CIEL began releasing more expensive original fragrances, including Ange du Ciel and Demon du Ciel, in partnership with fragrance-material suppliers. The company profile records membership in the Perfume Club from 2005 and the Direct Selling Association from 2008, and states that 28 fragrances received awards at international fragrance competitions. After a partnership in 2022, CIEL fragrances continued to be presented as a distinct CIEL collection through Siberian Wellness-related retail pages.
