Cindy C was established in France on 4 May 1994 as Parfums Cindy C. Its registered company was based in Paris, with recorded addresses on boulevard Malesherbes in 1998 and avenue Marceau by 2008–2009. In June 2009, Parfums Jean-Jacques Vivier became the company’s sole shareholder, after which Parfums Cindy C. was dissolved without liquidation. International trademark records document the Cindy C. mark’s transfer from Parfums Cindy C. to Parfums Jean-Jacques Vivier by 2010. The brand is documented within the Parfums Jean Jacques Vivier portfolio alongside Giorgio Monti, 10th Avenue Karl Antony, Tom Ross, and Max Deville.
