Coco & Eve
Coco & Eve was founded in 2018 by Australian entrepreneur Emily Hamilton, drawing on Bali’s wellness and hair-care culture to combine tropical ingredients with science-led beauty formulations. Initially focused on hair care, the brand expanded into self-tanning, sun protection, skin care, and body care. Its first product, Like a Virgin Hair Masque, became closely associated with Coco & Eve, with editorial coverage reporting sales of more than 5,000 units in one week; the name later extended to a broader hair-care collection. Developed within Supernova, the group Hamilton co-founded with her husband Alex Ostrowski, Coco & Eve was acquired on July 23, 2024, by Gauge Capital-backed Soleil Collective, which provided growth capital and recapitalized the company. The partnership also supported the brand’s Bali-inspired vision and further product development. Coco & Eve’s identity combines tropical botanical references with vegan and cruelty-free values and increasingly science-oriented formulation claims.
