Comedìa
Founded by Claudio Calafiore and Edoardo Tacconi, Comedìa is an Italian artistic-perfumery brand launched in 2025. Its name refers to Dante’s Comedìa, the work later known as the Divine Comedy, and to the idea of human transformation from a lower to a nobler condition. The brand translates major works of world literature into fragrances, linking each scent with a literary work, an emotion, and a historical era. Its identity centers on Italian artistic perfumery, literature, art, discovery, research, and storytelling, treating perfume as an olfactory narrative rather than only a cosmetic product. Tacconi is the perfumer and Calafiore the artistic director. Among the brand’s early fragrances, Di Mezza Estate draws on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and received the public award at Premio Aromata 2024.
