Fragrance house
compagneeuropeene
Founded in Nancy in 1973, Compagnie Européenne des Parfums is a French fragrance company now based in Dijon, where it develops collections in Burgundy as a family-owned small business. After moving there in 2008, it refocused on its historic Christine Arbel Paris brand. Its public identity combines that fragrance house with officially licensed work for Barbie, Hot Wheels, and Miraculous. Ownership changed in December 2020, when Denis Goudigan acquired the company through the Adkrog Investor in Cosmetics transaction. Its natural-fragrance work includes Siobhan, developed with four Grasse perfume houses and centered on natural-origin ingredients. The company’s fragrance history includes Rose Noire, launched in 1988, and Mademoiselle Arbel à Paris, launched in 2012. Regional business coverage identifies Christine Arbel and Mademoiselle à Paris as the company’s historic flagship fragrance brands, reflecting its long association with mass-market French distribution.
