Corine de Farme
Corine de Farme was founded in 1969, when Paul Duprez partnered with a homeopathic pharmacist to develop plant-based formulas for babies’ sensitive skin. The brand began with natural skincare and cleansing products for babies, then extended its sensitive-skin approach to the whole family. Initially sold through pharmacies, it later moved into mass-market distribution under Patrick Van den Schrieck, Paul Duprez’s son-in-law. Its public identity is associated with plant-derived and organic-oriented skincare, sensitive-skin care, and the Homeo-végétal concept, built around purified flower and plant extracts. Corine de Farme is the historical brand of the Sarbec Cosmetics group, whose activities also include cosmetics, perfumes, and wipes. The brand’s sustainability record includes refill packaging introduced in 2012, a French-origin natural-ingredient sourcing policy launched in 2017, and Sarbec laboratories’ participation in the B Corp movement from 2020. In 2023, Vabel acquired exclusive control of Sarbec, including Corine de Farme. Its fragrance history includes licensed children’s scents; a historical ranking placed the Hannah Montana eau de toilette first among the fragrances listed.
