Corps Volatils

Corps Volatils is a French fragrance brand launched in 2020. Nicolas Chabot is identified as the person behind the brand, which followed his work reviving Le Galion and creating Æther. Its defining idea is to place synthetic molecules and natural extracts on an equal footing, treating perfume as an intersection of art and science. Developed through an exclusive collaboration with IFF-LMR, the launch presented 24 compositions: 12 built from natural materials associated with LMR Naturals and 12 based on pure synthetic molecules produced by IFF. The fragrances were designed to be worn individually or combined, giving wearers an active role in composing their scent. The brand’s creative method also uses scientific extraction and molecular techniques to modify or isolate facets of materials, creating customized ingredients that are shaped into perfume compositions.
