Cos Perfumery
COS takes its name from “Collection of Style.” It launched as a fashion concept pairing attention to fabric, finish and fit with accessible design, clean-cut pieces and modernist detail. Its design identity is associated with minimalist silhouettes, restrained colour and designs oriented toward longevity, drawing inspiration from architecture, art, photography and music. Art and design have been part of the brand’s universe from the beginning, including a first art collaboration with Frieze London in 2010. Karin Gustafsson helped shape that public identity through research into art communities, seasonal concept development and connections between the collections and wider art and design. COS is a portfolio brand of H&M Group and operates independently. In 2025, it entered fragrance with its first self-developed beauty range: four eau de parfums and four scented candles, created by Sophie Labbé, Ilias Ermenidis and Nathalie Lorson and made in Grasse, France. The Perfumery collection extends its design philosophy across woody, fresh, floral and spicy directions, with documented examples including Auburn and Mythe.
