Couteau de Poche

Couteau de Poche is a Brooklyn, New York-based fragrance project founded in 2017 by artist and designer Parid Cefa, who serves as its artistic director and perfumer. During the brand’s early period, Cefa also handled its fragrance, bottle and packaging design, photography, and marketing. The name translates from French as “pocket knife,” while the house’s small-scale, creator-led identity combines irreverence with elegance. Fumabat was the house’s first fragrance and 2017 debut, drawing on Japanese incense and early-20th-century French perfumery through a modern treatment of a classic structure. Metal Redux followed in 2024.
